It’s always lovely to hear client’s stories, and I couldn’t wait to share JG’s inspiring experience:
“My physiotherapist said he thought Pilates would greatly help with my back problems, which started 18 years ago. My first thought was “What’s Pilates?”. I imagined a class full of fit people doing things on mats and wondered how on earth I would even get down onto the floor. Worse still, how would I get back up? He saw the panic on my face and said he’d heard Christine was very good and did one-to-one sessions which sounded just the thing for me. I was desperate for any help I could get. I got in touch and I’m delighted to say I’ve never looked back.
Christine is so understanding, kind and gentle. She takes the time to work out what is the best way to deal with things rather than use a blanket approach. I have been unable to bend properly for years and I was getting to the stage where I was completely seizing up. The first thing she taught me was how to bend properly and it’s been an absolutely life-changing revelation. Next thing was to get all those joints moving – it’s so gentle and doesn’t all have to be done on the floor! What a joy it is not to be in constant agony and to be able to pick my cat up from the floor, pet my dog and cut my own toenails again!
It’s obvious that Christine is passionate about what she does and her delight in seeing the improvement in my movement (how’s that for a slogan!) is lovely. She is a very caring and extremely knowledgeable lady. My only regret is that I didn’t find her sooner so I could have prevented some of the damage done to my back.”

It’s not always about running a marathon – sometimes it’s enough to be able to cut your own toenails!
